Chart notes
SHAGGY EDGE opted to be the early trailer, circled the field in the five path to claim a narrow lead int eh upper stretch, floated in a bit at the eighth, just held. GOVENOR HANK was reluctant to load the starting gate, broke slightly inward, set a pressured pace from the two path, yielded to SHAGGY EDGE in the upper stretch and was carried in at the eighth, found a late burst but just missed, gamely. HEARTBREAK GAME pressed the early pace setter between foes, kept on down the stretch for the show award. JUSTICEONEMORETIME was brushed by outer foe at the start, tracked the pace between runners, trailed at the quarter, split foes int he final furlong. CUTLASS KING tracked the pace three wide, weakened in the stretch. SKYLANE chased the pace from the inside, faded down the stretch.
