Chart notes
SAND CAST saved ground on the first turn, settled off the inside on the backstretch, was roused in the three path on the far turn, gained to get the lead in upper stretch, drifted out a bit near the furlong marker, battled outside of the runner-up into the final sixteenth then edged clear under strong urging to prevail. CONCENTRATION saved ground on the first turn, was rated while tracking the pace, made a bid in the two path on the far turn, took the lead outside the quarter-pole, lost the advantage to the winner in upper stretch, fought with that foe into the final sixteenth and was outfinished while clear for the place. WILLINGNESS rounded the first turn in the two path, settled off the pace, was urged along passing the nine-sixteenths pole, dropped in late on the backstretch, saved ground on the far turn and proved no match for the top two but was along for the show. C MAC DA BOSS went to the front, rounded the first turn in the four path, showed the way well out in the track, was asked in the four path on the far turn, lost the lead outside the quarter-pole and tired. BUTCHY BOY went around the turns in the three then four path and failed to respond.
