Chart notes
COLOMA dictated the pace from the two path, was cued midway around the far turn, and kicked away down the lane to be much the best. SOLAR GLARE chased in the five path, was driven in the three path around the far turn, battled with an outer foe for minor placings from the four path entering the stretch, tipped out twice after a pair of left handed cues to bump that outer foe twice in the final furlong, and held place. DANGEROUS DRIVER tracked in the two path, came under pressure from the four path early around the turn, kept on from the five path down the lane, got bumped by an inner foe twice in the final furlong and stayed on for show. BERNIE GOES BOOM was prompted from up close in the three path, driven around the far turn, angled to the rail passing the quarter, but faded. COVE BAY BOY hopped at the start, the steadied around the first turn, rated inside entering the backstretch but never menaced. FOLLOWING AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF DANGEROUS DRIVER AGAINST THE RIDER OF SOLAR GLARE FOR INTERFERNCE IN THE STRETCH, SOLAR GLARE WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM SECOND AND PLACED THIRD FOR TIPPING OUT AND BUMPING DANGEROUS DRIVER TWICE IN THE FINAL FURLONG IMPEDING HIM OF A FAIR CHANCE TO GET UP FOR PLACE.
