WHISKEY ALLEY prompted the pace in the two path, bid under coaxing midway around the turn, held the lead while floating out to the four path entering the stretch, and ran on but got overtaken by the outer winner in the closing stages. DESIGNED BY SMARTY se the pace inside, was cued when challenged passing the three-eighths pole, lost the lead at the top of the stretch, then faded to show. RAG MAMA RAG chased in the three path, was driven around the turn, but made no impact from the five path down the lane. MENCKE tracked the early pace, was ridden in the two path around the turn, but made no closing bid.
