Chart notes
MUNNINGS EXPRESS established the front and showed the way in hand along the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn, continued in the two path into upper stretch, edged clear under a light drive to the eighth pole, held clear to the finish kept to task. ATARAH came in just after the start bumping LIMES DON'T LIE in concert with ALL CLASS, chased two to three paths off the inside down the backstretch, went three then four wide through the turn coming under coaxing three furlongs out, spun three wide for home, kept on to secure the place honors. LIMES DON'T LIE got bumped between foes just after the break, chased just off the inside coming under a ride at the five-sixteenths marker, tipped three wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild bid to close in belatedly to the finish. ALL CLASS came out slightly after the start bumping LIMES DON'T LIE in tandem with ATARAH, chased along the inside under urging from midway on the turn, continued in the inside route into upper stretch, weakened. ARTEMIS SOUND stumbled at the start and broke on top despite it, chased four then three wide under encouragement with five-sixteenths remaining, angled five wide at the head of the stretch, weakened through to the finish.
