Chart notes
GUCCI MAN steadied along the rail around the first turn, laid up close under a hold along the rail, came under a drive passing the three-eighths pole, bid from the rail going by the quarter, and stayed on to draw ahead of an outer pair in the final sixteenth. RACE DAY REBAL set the pace in the two path, was roused passing the three-eighths pole, dug in gamely between rivals in the three path down the stretch, got out-finished by the inner winner in the final sixteenth, but held place. CATALINA CAT laid up close in the three path, bid passing the three-eighths pole, kicked on to sustain that bid from the four path to the wire, but got edged out by an inner pair to show. HOPE JOE'S RIGHT brushed with an outer foe at the start, tracked in the three path, was driven into the far turn, but flattened in the four path down the stretch. ICE MINISTER had a slow start, chased in the four path, was driven in the three path around the far turn, but did not threaten. STREAMSONG brushed with an inner foe at the start, then trailed throughout around the two path.
