Chart notes
BACK NINE STAKES was away in good order and showed the way on the inside and was well handled, sent down leaving the turn and held well to prove best under a drive. MR. WILLIAN broke in and bumped RISK at the start, rated along the outside and was coaxed along three wide on the far turn and came four wide into the lane and finished well to be slowly gaining late but had to settle for being second best. THE KID IS BACK stalked the winner two wide and came three wide off the turn and had aim leaving the three sixteenths but flattened out ion the final furlong while saving the show award. CHEMICAL ROMANCE was allowed to settle on the outside and came under coaxing three wide on the far turn and came five wide into the lane but had no punch in the lane while racing one paced. RISK was bumped at the break, chased the pace along the inside but had no rally. ETERNITY was settled towards the inside and tired. THOM THOM was off slowly and then was a bit in tight into the first turn on the inside and then failed to menace.
