FADETHENOISE sent for the early lead, assumed command then showed good speed while leading into the turn, shook free of FLETCHER nearing the quarter marker and drew clear to the stretch, kept to task into the final sixteenth and held sway to the wire. TROPANDHAGEN hard sent from the gate then settled in the second flight, advanced while saving ground into the turn, chased FADETHENOISE into the stretch, could not make headway on the winner into the final sixteenth but was a clear second best. FLETCHER broke a step slowly then was hustled to be forwardly placed early on, pressed the pace to the turn, was repelled by FADETHENOISE nearing the quarter pole, fought on into the stretch, yielded to the top pair into the final sixteenth and was a clear third. SHAKIN LOOSE broke alertly then lacked early foot and settled to the turn, coaxed four then three wide into the bend, ran in pursuit to mid-stretch and needed more in the final stages. EXPRESSO BAY raced close up to the early pace then was shuffled back in the opening furlong, saved ground into the turn then kept an inside path to the stretch, could not find more into the drive and weakened late. HIGHLY POTENT off slow and trailed early, floated six wide to upper stretch and passed tired rivals in the late stages. GRONKSFLYINSEAGULL off slow away from the gate, settled to the turn, swung to the five path nearing the top of the lane then floated out a rival at the three-sixteenths, lacked the needed response in the stretch and did not factor late. RUDIOBUS was forwardly placed in the early running, tracked from the second flight heading to the turn, lost ground three wide nearing the quarter pole, got fanned four wide to upper stretch and gave way in the drive. MO SAYS hard to load prior to the start, was prominent early and chased the pace to the turn, ran in pursuit three wide to the quarter marker, could not keep pace to upper stretch, gave way through the lane and was reported to have bled when pulled up, walked off under his own power.
