Chart notes
MORNING CUP sped to the lead at the start, was nicely rated and settled while leading the way around the turn, remained confidently handled into the late stages and kept clear. FLIPPING FISH was forwardly placed up the backstretch, continued to track the leader around the turn, given cue two wide at the lane, put in a good effort but had to settle for clearly second best. MR. THUNDERSTRUCK rated in the opening quarter, raced three wide late on the turn, hustled along two to three wide into the head of the lane and finished well clear for show. LUCKY'S SECRET settled along the inside, sat patiently early in the turn, shifted out near the quarter pole, set down for the drive but lacked a needed rally. STUNNING BRUNO raced in range up the backstretch, weakened around the turn and continued to tire in the drive. AUX ARCS stalked the pacesetter, lost position past the mid-way point around the turn and faded in the lane. FOR REEL got bumped back at the start and trailed. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate times.
