Chart notes
FREE AMERICA hopped at the start, stalked in the four path, ranged up passing the quarter, bid in the five path at the top of the lane, and forged ahead in the final furlong. ONE FOR MY BROTHER had a slow start, chased in the four path, was coaxed along midway around the turn, floated out to the six path in upper stretch, and ran on to get up for place late. I FORGOT TO ASK set the pace in the two path, was roused midway around the turn, floated out to the four path at the top of the stretch, then fought on before flattening around the sixteenth. PERFORMANCE PLUS trailed in the three path, was coaxed along in the four path around the turn, and stayed on to pass a tired pair. BANIDOSO laid up close inside, bid under a drive from the rail midway around the turn, battled on from the two path down the lane, but yielded in the final sixteenth. COW CREEK KID tracked from the three to two paths but made no closing bid.
