Chart notes
MISTY MUPPET was outpaced early, hugged the inside rail while making a forward move through the turn, then continued the bid through the stretch, gained the lead inside the sixteenth, and held clear to the wire. WHIMSICAL HEIR raced near the back early, advanced through the turn under a drive, came out three-wide for the stretch run, closed well but came up short of the winner. CURLIN'S LIL GAL moved up after the start to join SURELY SWIFT on the lead, dueled two-wide through the turn, put that rival away past the quarter pole, led in upper stretch, then yielded late and had to settle for the minor award. LOTTERY TICKET was close up in the two-lane but tired in the lane. SURELY SWIFT broke sharply to jump to the front early, was joined by CURLING'S LIL GAL before the half, dueled through the turn, came under right-handed urging at the quarter pole, and weakened in the stretch. FLASH MASTER raced close up on the inside, then tired in the stretch. AMADORA'S EMPIRE was briefly close to the pace, then struggled to keep up in the late stages.
