Chart notes

C JACK broke alertly, showed good speed away from the start, disputed the early pace from inside of a pair of rivals, dueled from the two path along the turn, dug in into upper stretch and lasted for the win in the final strides. GOT NO BULL hustled from the gate, disputed the early pace from between foes along the backstretch, dueled from the three path along the turn, kept at bay into upper stretch, fought gamely to the final sixteenth and just missed for the win, while besting the rest. EYE FOR AN EYE off a step slowly leaving the start, chased the early leaders along the backstretch then saved ground into the turn, kept an inside path to the stretch, was within aim into the final sixteenth, could not make headway on the leading pair in deep stretch but held safely in the end for third. TRACEY'S KITCHEN prominent away from the start, disputed the early pace three wide, pressed from the four path into the turn, lost ground to upper stretch, faded in the stretch drive and was outkicked late for the show honors. SUNSHINE LUTE settled off of the early pace then lost ground on the run to the turn, trailed along the bend, coaxed from the two path to upper stretch, no final kick. RUNDOFT off a bit slowly leaving the start, advanced along the backstretch then chased four wide to the turn, lost ground nearing the top of the lane, drifted to the five path to upper stretch then weakened in the late stages. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction, and it was re-timed using video technology to obtain the most accurate final time available.
