Chart notes
SNOW KING claimed a ground saving lead before the first turn, met a bid from PERSONAL CREED approaching the half mile marker, maintained a pressured pace through the far turn, dueled with that one down the stretch, drew clear in the final sixteenth. ICONIC ROCK was fractious in the gate, broke a step slow, raced off the pace, rallied along the inside of the stretch for the place honors. PERSONAL CREED broke outward at the start, steadily advanced three wide to press the pace at the half mile marker, contested the lead in the upper stretch until giving way in the final sixteenth. NICE SHOT DOUG chased the pace a couple lengths back, was roused through the far turn but lacked the response needed. BROGUE settled off the pace, angled out to the four path rounding the far turn but could not rally. MOON CHARGER broke a beat slow, trailed throughout, non factor.
