Chart notes
RYAN'S GIRL pressed the pace from outside, vied three deep on the backstretch, took over at the five-sixteenths pole, cleared approaching the quarter pole and drew off in the final furlong. DORIE MILLER was off a bit slow to begin, reserved on the inside, tipped outside a pair of rivals on the far turn, finished willingly through the lane to gain second but was no match for the winner. CLUBHOUSE CUTIE bumped TIMEKEEPER'S CHARM at the start, raced up close on the inside, got put in tight by SPOTTED HAZE and steadied on the first turn, started to pull into the backstretch, went up to challenge the top pair from inside on the backstretch, put a head in front early on the far turn, lost command at the five-sixteenths marker, chased into the lane and weakened. TIMEKEEPER'S CHARM bobbled and bumped leaving the gate, followed in range three to four wide on the first turn, remained wide up the backstretch, raced in the four path into the far turn, angled in around the bend and had little left for the stretch run. SPOTTED HAZE showed the way in the two path into the first turn then moved inside around the bend, came off the rail and was challenged from both sides on the backstretch, lost command early on the far turn, weakened around the bend and was eased in the drive.
