Chart notes
BARON OF THE NILE away in good order and prominent early on, tracked the pace along the backstretch, went up to press the pace from outside of PERFECT UNION into the turn, dueled that foe into the stretch then shook free into the final furlong, kept to task to the final sixteenth, held safely late. TEXAS HOLDEM broke a step slowly then allowed to settle early on, advanced between foes into the turn, made a sustained bid to upper stretch, chased the leading pair into the final furlong, finished well in deep stretch, could not reel in the winner in the final yards and held for second. PRODIGY PARADISE forwardly placed away from the start then took back, trailed heading into the turn, advanced three wide nearing the quarter marker, angled to the four path to upper stretch, responded well in the drive, closed well into the final sixteenth, could not reel in the top pair in deep stretch and was clear in the end for third. PERFECT UNION broke alertly, vied for the early lead from outside of rivals then took command, showed the way into the turn, met the bid of BARON OF THE NILE at the quarter pole, repelled by that rival into the final furlong, could not find more into the final sixteenth and faded late. LIL CHILLY was forwardly placed in the early going, stalked from the inside heading into the turn, lost ground nearing the quarter marker, trailed to upper stretch, needed more in the lane and failed to threaten in the final sixteenth. BELLO CREEDO lunged at the start and off a step slowly, shifted to the outside of rivals along the backstretch and tracked the pacesetter heading to the turn, was well placed while three to four wide nearing the quarter marker, outrun to upper stretch and came up empty in the drive.
