EL CARDINAL stalked the pace bidding three deep down the lane rallying clear in the final yards. SCRATCHOFF saved ground surging along the rail to take a short lead in mid stretch ceding late to outside pressure. CAJUN HOPE sent clear set the pace to upper stretch weakening late between horses. CANAVALL chased through the turn then weakened in upper stretch. HOLY SAINT was always a step slow.
