COMMISSIONER D trailed inside, altered course five wide at the top of the stretch, responded with a burst of speed under left handed urging to make the lead inside the sixteenth marker and drew clear. GO GIRL pressed the pace two wide, gained a slight advantage midway on the turn, dropped back a bit, came on again late under right handed urging but was no match for the winner. VAL'S TWINSTAR set a pressured pace along the inside into the turn, was headed by the runner up, came on again to regain the advantage in upper stretch then was outfinished in the late stages. QUICK RENDEZVOUS was restless in the gate, offered a bid into the stretch then came up empty. COWGIRL SARA with the second flight two wide, weakened late. MANDOLIN BREEZE failed to menace. WINGS OF HEAVEN also restless in the gate was no threat. ROSETTA had speed through the turn then wilted.
