Chart notes
RIGHT ON THE MUNNY sprinted to a daylight lead soon after the start, set all the pace and lasted under right handed urging. MAY MAYHEM stalked the pace along the inside and was steadily gaining ground late. MATTHEW'S PATRIOT well placed, had a mild late rally four wide. RED CHILI PEPPER chased the winner three wide and was outfinished in the late stages. SWEET LEMON DROP failed to menace. NATIONAL STORY unhurried early, failed to respond. MARQUITOS M was no threat. JOHN FITZGERALD broke awkwardly, raced wide and had no impact. MERGER was no factor.
