Chart notes
TAMPA TEACHER bumped with an outer foe at the start, laid up close in the two path, was cued passing the three-eighths pole, angled out midway around the far turn, bid while swinging from the five path into the lane, and drew away in the final furlong to be much the best. BOURBON N BLUSH set the pace in the three path, waited around the far turn, came under pressure at the top of the stretch, flattened in the final furlong, but held place. EMERALD EYES bumped with an inner foe and checked at the start, chased in the three path, continued under a drive in the two path around the far turn, and finished on one pace down the lane to edge out show. JOSEFINA broke in, was wellback in the five path, driven in the four path around the far turn, but lacked a closing kick. TIER ONES LEGACY tracked in the four path, was coaxed along in the three path around the far turn, but faded in the stretch.
