Chart notes
SKIMBLE SHANKS broke a step slow, trailed through the first turn, began advancing along the inside up the backstretch, picked off another rounding the far turn and angled out three wide, drove past the last two remaining foes just in time. COMMINGLING moved up to press the early pace setter in the two path, contested the lead in the far turn and took charge at the top of the stretch, grudgingly gave way to outer foe for a gamely finish. RUN HAPPY PAPPY showed good early speed, came under pressure from COMMINGLING up the backstretch, battled that one through the far turn until giving way at the top of the stretch, flattened out but was able to hold for the show award. HAY CHIEF raced off the pace, showed a mild rally late. ROB THE RICH tracked the pace three wide, lacked a bid. KEEPING IT COUNTRY chased the pace from the inside through the first turn, backed off to trail by the half mile marker.
