Chart notes
LICORICE tracked the leaders from between rivals down the backside, rallied on the turn to close the gap, split rivals in uper stretch and pulled away in the final yards. BETTY JO stalked the pacesetters from the outside to the turn, rallied five wide turning for home to threaten with a steady bid and settled for second best when unable to keep pace with the winner late. LIGHT FAST FEET pressed the pace to the quarter pole from three wide, took a brief lead at the top of the lane while drifting out slightly, battled on the lead to midway down the stretch and was outkicked late. THRILL OF THE NITE sped to the lead from the gate, set a pressured pace, responded well when challenged turning for home, rider lost the crop nearing the eighth pole and weakened late. STARFALL chased the leaders early on and dropped back to be no factor.
