Chart notes
GRAN ORIENTE (CHI) saved ground, advanced when maneuvered off the rail entering the far turn, was swung five wide for the stretch run and rallied strongly under energetic handling. MISSED THE CUT off a step slowly, was brushed in the early going, reserved, commenced his bid far on the turn and managed a late bid to garner the place spot. INDECISIVENESS dueled in the early going, took over on the first turn, was headed leaving the far turn and proved no match. TANK raced forwardly along the inside, remained inside for the stretch run and went evenly. HORSEPOWER raced in the striking position while four wide and failed to menace. DISCREET DANCER was outpaced while five wide, went three wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. PARIS SURPRISE was always outrun. WAR BOMBER (IRE) dueled early, settled into a stalking position and weakened in the stretch.
