Chart notes
VIRTUE'S REWARD vied for the early lead, failed to match strides with MC COUGAR mid-way around the turn but kept close ran on in close into the lane, dug in determinedly under firm handling and edged ahead late. MC COUGAR vied inside for the early lead, shook free mid-way around the turn, continued to find more on top under firm handling but could not hold off the winner late. MACHO FORTY FIVE tracked the early pace, was set down three to four wide for the drive, ranged up into striking distance but lacked the needed surge to get by. TIME TO SING raced in early contention along the rail, waited for racing room around the turn, given cue at the head of the lane, raced in range just off the inside then flattened past mid-stretch. QUIETLINE settled in early stages, hustled along two wide down the lane and needed more for serious impact. I LIKE IT BLACK was off slowly at the start and trailed in opening stages, hustled along and gained ground after the opening quarter, swung four wide into upper stretch and lacked a needed rally. TOBIN LEE raced off the pace, came three wide into the stretch and never threatened. DONTDRINKANDDRIVE saved ground around the turn and never menaced.
