FIRE BREATHER settled off of the early pace then caught in traffic along the first turn, shifted out and coaxed four wide along the backstretch, made a sustained four wide rally to the far turn, was gaining on the winner late but could not reel that one in and held for second at the wire. LION THRONE off a bit slowly then settled in the early going, trailed into the backstretch, put to a drive while five wide heading to the far turn, sustained that bid to the stretch, closed willingly in deep stretch and just missed for second, while holding safely for third. GANGSTER close up in the early running, chased the pace three wide into the backstretch, well placed into the far turn, battled to upper stretch then could not muster the needed final response. CHARMING SMILE hustled for the early lead, took command and led to the backstretch, was confronted by ANOTHER JUANITO and set a pressured pace into the far turn, made contact with that foe to upper stretch, could not find more into deep stretch and faded late. GESARA settled while saving ground early on, kept an inside path to the backstretch, chased the leaders from the inside heading to the far turn, weakened nearing the top of the lane and could not find more late. FINANCIAL a bit slow into stride leaving the start, caught four to five wide into the first turn, tracked the pace from the second flight along the backstretch, lost ground into the far turn then came up empty in the late stages. STREET ROCKY Q off a bit slowly then hustled away from the gate, tracked the pace from the second flight into the backstretch, was outrun to the far turn then tired late. PEARLOFGREATPRICE crowded at the start and off slow, rushed between foes into the first turn, stopped into the backstretch, was well behind into the far turn and eventually crossed the wire. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction, and it was re-timed using video technology to obtain the most accurate final time available.
