Chart notes
SPIKE THE PUNCH came away in good order and angled to the inside, advanced along the rail to challenge for the early lead, vied around the turn, shook free entering the head of the lane, roused for more, responded gamely and pulled away. OUT FLAT was off slowly at the start, remained off the early pace, came five paths wide at the head of the lane, rallied along the outside and gained place. DREAMOFYOU tracked the early pace, went three wide around the turn, ran on with response into the drive and secured show. GOLDEN HURRICANE raced off the early pace, moved three to four wide around the turn, hustled along three wide in the upper stretch, gained position but lacked the needed rally for impact. UNCLE TATER raced in range, saved ground around the turn and weakened in the lane. WERTHETHREEAMIGOS broke on top then took on the challenge from SPIKE THE PUNCH, vied outside of rival around the turn then came up tired in the lane. VEGASBORN showed response in the opening quarter then steadily retreated.
