Chart notes
NINETYPRCENTMADDIE rated inside the pacesetters, bid into the stretch and edged clear holding off several challengers. CADET CORPS settled at the back of pack, rallied into the stretch with a gradual late gain. LONESOME BOY prompted the pace outside, was collared on both sides at the quarter pole and continued gamely. COUNTERSPY trailed early, rallied three wide on the final turn then tired slightly. SPEEDYNESS set the pace off the inside for three quarters and yielded in the stretch. BIG BOYS ANSWER flashed speed then began stopping after half mile.
