Chart notes
ARTIST MARK quickly showed in front, set the pace racing with a clear lead, responded when roused, pulled away in the stretch run and was ridden out. LEIGH'S LAST HERO chased close up on the inside, chased on the turn, dug in gamely on the rail in the lane and held on for second. A G DIAMOND was off slowly and veered out, then raced off the pace inside, moved up on the rail entering the stretch, angled out and rallied mildly. BUZZ ADAMS stumbled at the start, chased close up two wide, chased on the turn and finished evenly. OLLIE BOY trailed the field, came wide and did not factor. HEAVY TIMBER raced two wide off the pace, chased on the turn and tired.
