Chart notes
TEMECULA tracked the pace three wide, sustained a well timed rally to be up just in time. LUNDI LOOT vied for early command with SET FOR LIFE in the two path, opted to press through the turn, challenged that foe again at the top of the stretch, began to drive clear in the final furlong but got nailed at the wire by an outer foe. PILOTE COMETE opted to be the early trailer, rallied down the stretch four wide for the show award. SET FOR LIFE vied with LUNDI LOOT in the early stages along the inside, claimed sole command after the first furlong, was contested by that same foe in the upper stretch and weakened in the final furlong. SPAMALOT was rated in the two path, shifted out in the stretch but had nothing to give. FALCON COVE never threatened.
