Chart notes
PEACOCK ROAD was never far off the pace, bid near the inside leaving the turn altered course mid stretch and surged to win going away. APRIL'S GEM was checked on the first turn, stalked the pace, bid four wide on the second turn, got a head in front near the eighth pole and was outclosed. LOTTA ROSES stalked the pace, bid along the rail on the second turn, was in contention, hung late and held for show. FLORIBUNDA pressed the pace to the second turn, dropped back and leveled off. DAISY MAE ATTACK set the pace while being rated, led to mid stretch and was unable to sustain her bid. DESERT GLOW was never far back, saved ground, stopped on the second turn and was not urged through the stretch.
