Chart notes
SHINING SPIRIT tracked the early pace while never far back, roused to upper stretch, vied for the lead into the final furlong, pulled away in the late stages and ridden out to the wire. QUEEN WIGGY sent for the early lead, assumed command and made her own pace into the turn, met the bid of SHINING SPIRIT into upper stretch, could not match strides with the winner to deep stretch and was an easy second. HONORABLE CHILL off a bit slowly and unhurried in the early stages, advanced two wide into the turn, shifted to the rail to upper stretch, was no match for the top two into the lane, held well late for third. MY BOSS LADY crowded at the start and spotted the field to begin, lacked early speed and trailed to the turn, swung widest to upper stretch, needed a final kick in deep stretch and just missed for third. LA LIMA away in good order, tracked the early pace from the outside, lost ground three wide nearing the quarter marker, lacked the needed response in the drive and weakened. KENTUCKY REIGN settled in the second flight to begin, saved ground into the turn, could not keep pace nearing the quarter pole, no response in the stretch.
