Chart notes
ST PETE'S PASSION saved ground around the first turn, settled off the pace on the inside for the run up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the three path, began a bid entering the stretch and dueled to the wire, drifting in and getting up for the win late. MAX HASTE raced in the two path early, chased the leader on the inside up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the two path, dueled in the lane and narrowly missed. BROTHER PAUL led the way while saving ground through the opening half mile, continued to save ground around the second turn and gave way in the stretch. WALKERS BEACH raced in the three path around the first turn, stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, came around the far turn still in the three path and faded in the lane. BALD CYPRESS raced in the three path early, settled off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, saved ground around the second turn and made no bid.
