Chart notes
DOUBLE JAB stepped to the front and crossed over, took pressure at the half-mile pole, moved clear past the five-sixteenths marker, met a pair of bids at the top of the lane, held a short lead over BURNING RUBBER into deep stretch and held well in the end. BURNING RUBBER forwardly placed from inside, came under a ride on the turn, tipped out and challenged at the top of the lane, hounded the winner into the final sixteenth and lacked the needed late punch. MONEY MAKES MONEY chased from inside out of range early on, angled out at the top of the stretch, put in a late run but was not enough. CONCORD BRIDGE steadied between rivals early, moved to the inside, racing near the back, saved ground to the stretch and kept trying through the lane to round out the superfecta. TRAVELIN' SHOW raced up close then pressed the leader from outside at the half-mile pole, lost touch with DOUBLE JAB past the five-sixteenths pole, re-bid three deep in upper stretch and flattened out in the late stages. NEWS AT TEN (GB) got crowded between rivals shortly after the start, trailed two to three wide, tipped out at the top of the lane and passed tired rivals. KIMMER settled off the speed in the opening stages, traveled in the two path then found the rail leaving the bend and proved no menace. SOI NGERN raced in mid-pack early on, took the turn two to three wide and weakened.
