SERIOUS GREEN was nestled on the rail in midfield under a snug hold pulling the rider closer, glided up inside of horses at the three eighths pole, sat poised in the two path on the turn behind the leader at the quarter marker, pounced four wide straightening out for the drive, seized control in front by a head outside with a furlong left to run and dug in stubbornly late fending off the outside challenge by the runner up in deep stretch. BUTTERFLY BILLIE was relaxed seeing the field well in range down the backside, while still in hand began to pick up outside rivals by the half, remained under a good hold weaving between runners advanced around the bend, shifted out three wide bursting between horses in upper stretch, was moving to the leader outside five wide by the furlong pole closing in smartly but just could not get by in the late going for the win. OOKPIK was hustled from the get-go having the lead between foes, increased the margin up top through the early part of the turn, had company on the outside while three wide turning for home, dueled determinedly until the furlong pole but was no match for the front two in the late going, ending up a solid and clear third at the finish line. NO MISTAKE was in the middle of the pack going five deep on the outside, ran on evenly holding her own while going three to four wide around foes in the turn running, angled out widest in the seven path having clear run at the top of the stretch and came with a bit of a run in the final eighth of a mile to garner a minor placing in the end. OUR LILLY was hard held watching the lead three early on, got shuffled back slightly, losing some positioning at the half, rallied on the rail following the eventual winner midway on the turn, skimmed the fence in the hunt for a piece of the prize at the top of the lane but evened out in the final furlong. DANCIN MARY MARIE pressed between runners up front along the back straight, continued to chase the frontrunner around the oval, shifted out six wide having little left for the drive and weakened in the two path in the final furlong. HENNA GAL travelled outside of another keeping a close eye on the lead trio down the backstretch, was roused making a brief rally with runners on either side at the five sixteenths pole, could not continue on in upper stretch and faded. FLORIDA VACATION settled near the rear in the two path at the half, saved ground but was regressing throughout the turn and failed to be a menace inside of horses in the drive to the finish line. STRAWBERRY WORLD had a stalking trip in the four path between foes ahead of only one rival in the beginning, was relegated to the rear while being nudged on for more run going three wide at the seven sixteenths pole and managed to pass just a weary foe in upper stretch. LA RONDE prompted the pace going three deep outside two others along the back straight, came under a ride still three wide at the three eighths marker just trying to hold onto position throughout the turn, backed away four wide by the quarter pole and had little left for the drive, emptying out in upper stretch.
