Chart notes
FLYOVER controlled the pace along the inside, kicked away on the far turn, came off the rail at the top of the lane, remained clear under a drive into deep stretch and held safely in the end. ON THE WHIM stalked the lone leader along the rail, came under a ride into the far turn, asked left handed leaving the bend, was closest in pursuit of the winner through the lane, finished determinedly along the fence but lacked the needed final kick. PRINCE DOLCE tracked out of range in the two path, continued two wide into the far turn, found the rail with a quarter mile remaining, angled off the fence at the top of the lane and showed late run to close the gap on the top pair and finish a clear third. SANTA BARBARIAN allowed to settle along the rail, fell back to last on the far turn, cut the corner into the lane, passed tired rivals in upper stretch and edged CALL ME SIR for a minor award. CALL ME SIR hit the gate and came away slow on the outside, tucked inside at the back, passed a rival in the two path at the quarter pole, passed a few more tired rivals in upper stretch, then got edged for a minor placing. CURLIN'S KAOS stalked three wide into the first turn then moved in a path, continued two wide through the far turn and weakened in the drive. STAMP MY PASSPORT chased three deep on the clubhouse turn, weakened in the three path on the second bend and tired in the lane.
