BROTHER O' BRIEN was forwardly placed racing three-wide, rallied four-wide into the stretch and finished fast to be up in the final strides. BACKGROUND prompted WOOD CEILING racing two-wide, came three-wide into the stretch and finished strongly to just miss. WOOD CEILING saved ground setting the pace, opened a clear lead entering the stretch but was unable to resist the top two late. YOU'RE THE CAUSE was unhurried early, came three-wide into the stretch and failed to menace. THE BLACK STRAT bobbled at the start then was reserved off the print, moved up along the inside to offer a mild bid nearing the three-eighths pole and then faltered during the drive.
