Chart notes
SHOWGIRL SWIFTY was outsprinted in the early going dropping back in behind the leading group racing inside foes near but off the fence, came out four wide turning into upper stretch with aim having been asked for more passing the quarter pole, struck the lead and drove past late. WICKED START got away well and was prominent early along the inside, tracked the winner before moving out near the quarter pole advancing on that one, took the lead just past the three-sixteenths, moved clear in mid-stretch, was outfinished but second best. QUEEN'S EDGE was urged forward from between runners to the lead, set the pace edging clear at the three-eighths, was challenged coming to the top of the stretch and overtaken soon after, kept on but was outkicked. STARLYFT stalked from outside going three to four deep on the turn, floated out five to six wide leaving that bend, failed to rally in the stretch. TOP SHELF SHAKE was reluctant to load, broke a bit awkwardly, raced well back inside, passed rivals while coming out a bit in the stretch. FAITH FOREVER chased four to five wide, made no bid. NASHVILLE NIGHTS lacked early speed racing outside at the rear, was never near enough to threaten. CREATIVE LEAP chased three to four wide floating seven deep coming into upper stretch, faded.
