Chart notes
PRIME LISTING dueled from outside, cleared EXTRAORDINAIRE at the quarter pole, then drew off in tandem with the riderless horse under a tap of the right handed crop and mild hand urging. IS THAT YOU WING brushed leaving the gate, chased the top pair from inside into the turn, angled to the three path quickly, put in a bid at the top of the lane but got turned away quickly by the winner and stayed on to secure second. GILLMORE HAPPY chased from off the pace in the two path, ran on for third but failed to threaten. LEASE INSTEAD broke awkwardly while brushing IS THAT YOU WING, had his path taken by that rival shortly after, was hard to ride briefly prior to the first turn, went two then three wide around the bend and passed a tired rival. EXTRAORDINAIRE dueled from outside, yielded to the winner at the quarter pole and retreated in the lane. PRIME SPLASH broke in and bumped STANFORD WARRIOR, lugged in shortly after, saved ground while dropping back on the turn and failed to menace. DIAMOND TORNADO got bumped leaving the gate, chased in range into the turn, went three to four wide around the bend and could not rally. STANFORD WARRIOR got pinballed and lost the rider in the beginning, ran around the track and was eventually caught by the outrider and walked off. THERE WAS AN INQUIRY INVOLVING PRIME SPLASH AND STANFORD WARRIOR AT THE START. THE STEWARDS DISQUALIFIED PRIME SPLASH FROM SIXTH TO UNPLACED FOR BREAKING IN AND KNOCKING STANFORD WARRIOR INTO DIAMOND TORNADO, CAUSING STANFORD WARRIOR TO UNSEAT HIS RIDER.
