Chart notes
CROSSRIGHTHANDS bumped at the start, set the pace, drew off in the drive and was ridden out. MINDBLOWER raced mid pack, rallied between horses into the stretch and earned place while no match for the winner. APREMONT saved ground to the turn, went widest in the drive and closed to earn show while no threat to the top two. SGT MUSKETT broke awkwardly and bumped at the start, was taken in hand, advanced to the turn, bid and came up empty. SPEND AGAIN raced close to the pace towards the outside, dropped back entering the stretch, weakened and faded through the lane. AMERICAN KNIGHT was not a factor and showed little. AMERICAN RED chased the pace to the turn, dropped back, stopped and was not urged late. Due to a timing error or malfunction, this race was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time.
