HOW'S UR ATTITUDE pressed the pace from the three path after a sharp beginning, ranged up nearing the five-sixteenths marker, seized the lead without serious challenge at the head of the lane and kicked clear through the stretch. POSITIVITY broke alertly and stalked the pace, took the inside route entering the turn, came through under urging approaching the quarter pole, and rallied to be second best. CHASING COYOTES was allowed to settle near the rear, commenced a two-wide advance around the turn and finished willingly without threatening the winner. AUGUSTA MELODY broke sharply to establish the early lead, angled into the two path while clear, leaving the rail open, came under pressure from HOW'S UR ATTITUDE to the outside, yielded the lead in upper stretch, and weakened late for a minor share. CAMP EVANS was off a touch slowly, advanced four wide around the turn to draw within range nearing the quarter pole, remained in the two path while the leaders drifted wider, but lacked the needed late response. STAGE LEFT broke well from the inside and raced midpack between rivals, tipped out into the three path entering the stretch in search of room but failed to respond late. ONE GIANT LEAP lacked early speed and dropped toward the rear while racing in the two path, was hard ridden from the three-furlong marker but only passed tired rivals in the stretch. BOBWHITE BOBBY was taken up shortly after the break and dropped back to last, trailed the field from well behind, and improved position mildly in the stretch. BRON AND BROW took a bump from the inside rival at the start, was urged forward but lacked the speed to reach contention, began to retreat entering the turn, and failed to factor thereafter.
