Chart notes
MO HOPE forced the early pace, advanced on the far turn, was angled in for the stretch run, responded gamely to brisk pressure and prevailed. PATH TO SUCCESS broke outwardly, chased the pace while four wide, cruised up around the far turn, led into the stretch, edged clear but was caught in the late going. ROCKALL dueled along the inside, remained in contention around the far turn, was outpaced turning for home but kept on to secure the show position. SMOOTHDINI off a step slowly, raced in striking position while three wide, led entering the far turn and came up empty in the stretch. SLAVA UKRAINI was always outrun. BLAZING SABER outpaced while five wide, continued five wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. SPECIAL DISPATCH saved ground, was angled four wide into the stretch and gave no response when asked.
