Chart notes
HOPE JOE'S RIGHT prompted the pace ceding a clear lead to foe in upper stretch coming on the outside late to win clear. EL ONDEADO pressed the pace shaking clear on the inside in upper stretch before hanging late. WHY NOT ME led early then ceded to the far turn angling out in upper stretch putting in a late bid under a stiff drive near mid track. CLASSIC KING played no factor. MOTOR CITY MENACE was never involved. SPIRIT OF SPOATIE raced second flight tiring on the far turn.
