Chart notes
CAROLINA NIGHTS away alertly set the pace drawing off on the turn, was reeled in when drifting inside causing traffic at the head of the stretch then again nearing the wire tightening and brushing rival late. MIDNIGHT STROLLER chased inside cutting the corner being pinched checking outside the eighth pole continuing on from the rail being crowded and brushed late. CANDY FOR CYNTHIA slow early came four wide down the lane rallying late. OCATA chased on the turn then weakened in upper stretch. BREADMAN'SHONEYBUN played no factor. JUNITO'S BOY vying on the inside was blocked by traffic through the lane. THE GROOM'S JUL raced evenly through the turn then faded in upper stretch. MY FATHER'S SON was always outrun. AN OBJECTION FROM THE RIDER OF MIDNIGHT STROLLER AGAINST THE RIDER OF CAROLINA NIGHTS FOR INTERFERENCE DURING THE STRETCH RUN WAS DISALLOWED BY THE STEWARDS.
