MOMENT OF VALOR settled off the pace, raced between rivals into the turn, moved into striking distance around the bend, took aim two wide into the stretch, chased into the final sixteenth, reeled in GOING NOWHERE and drove past. GOING NOWHERE tracked the top pair up the backstretch, launched a bid three deep on the turn, took over late on the bend, maintained short lead into deep stretch but could not hold off the winner. HIGH KING chased inside rivals out of range of the leaders, saved ground to the stretch, put in a mild late bid and gained third while gaining on the top pair. OWL sat off the pace outside a pair of rivals, rounded the bend three then two wide, finished well down the stretch but got outclosed for third. TOWN IDOL dueled from inside, inched ahead into the turn, lost command late on the bend, fought on to the sixteenth pole, then weakened late. NO JOKE ANTARES settled outside rivals early, went four then three wide around the bend and could not rally in the drive. BELLO ROSSO dropped back under coaxing early, moved inside for the turn, hugged the rail to the stretch and failed to menace. ROYAL RUMOR bumped leaving the gate, got crowded and had to steady early, angled to the inside racing near the back, rounded the bend along the rail then in the two path and could not make an impact. JOHNLINO dueled from outside up the backstretch, fought between rivals on the turn to the quarter pole, could not kick on with the leaders late on the bend and retreated in the lane. STILL BULLETPROOF broke a step slow, trailed up the backstretch, passed a rival on the turn, saved ground to the stretch and could not make an impact. ROWDYBARFIGHT was off slow to begin, advanced from outside, drifted out at the three-eighths pole, trailed two wide into the lane and was never a factor. DUE TO A TIMER MALFUNCTION THE THREE-QUARTER FRACTION WAS HAND-TIMED.
