Chart notes
STEAL PROUD was unhurried early, advanced inside on the turn, closed steadily and wore down her rivals to get up in the final strides. WHITELICK ROAD stalked the pace, went five wide entering the stretch, closed steadily, was gaining late and got up near the wire for place. MY MAMA SEZ vied two across, inched clear near the sixteenth pole, led to the final strides and was outfinished. JUST SQUEEZING BY was last away from the gate, rushed to contention, vied inside and faltered near the sixteenth pole. DARK DIAMOND broke out, raced close to the pace, was in range, had the rider lose the whip near the eighth pole and lacked the needed late rally. JACK'S YELLOW ROSE was void of early speed, put in a steady effort and improved position. QUEEN GITA raced outside, went six wide entering the stretch, had nothing left for the drive and faded through the lane. GOOD AND NAUGHTY stumbled at the start, raced mid pack, went widest in the drive and failed to menace in an even effort. LADY ARTIST was not a factor.
