Chart notes
CASTILLE chased the dueling leaders in the early stages, launched a three wide bid to contest the lead at the quarter, dueled with VIOLENT RIVER in the final furlong, edged clear late. VIOLENT RIVER bumped outer foe at the start, vied for command with PLAYING HARDBALL, shook clear of that one in the upper stretch while meeting a bid from CASTILLE, dueled with that one in the final furlong for a gamely finish. PLAYING HARDBALL vied for early command with VIOLENT RIVER, met a few more bids around the quarter, flattened out in the stretch. HUEY DUEY stumbled at the start, advanced along the outside, found a competitive position five wide rounding the far turn but had no closing bid. AFFECTIONTO AUTISM advanced four wide for a prominent position around the quarter, lacked a closing bid. TRESILLIAN opted to be the early trailer, improved along the outside of the stretch. LOUDTHUNDRHEVYRAIN was a tad fractious in the gate, bumped inner foe at the start, raced off the pace, made no impact. BAD BRAD settled off the pace, never threatened.
