Chart notes
GOOSE HUNTER reserved off the pace while racing four wide through the first turn, commenced a steady rally remaining four wide on the far turn, assumed command from the weakening leaders in mid-stretch and held the runner-up safe deep in the drive. TEMPUS unhurried to be the trailer for the first half mile, closed the gap on the final bend, swung six wide and closed well belatedly to be gaining at the wire. PARTNER TOURS was rank racing off heels into the first turn, settled turning to the backstretch to stalk the leaders, made a threatening bid leaving the quarter pole and failed to sustain the rally in the lane. MARSAC set a pressured pace in well rated fractions for three-quarters and weakened in the stretch. COMEDIC TIMING raced in mid-pack off the pace for five-eighths, lost position on the final turn dropping to the rear of the field and showed some late interest passing tired rivals. TURNSANDCONDITIONS went evenly lacking a closing rally. BAHAMA CHANNEL pressed the pace to the far turn and gave way.
