Chart notes
FROSTED WARRIOR set the pace inside, was cued passing the quarter, kicked on while floating out to the three path to edge clear approaching the eighth pole, and held firm. AMERICAN BEAR got sent to press the inner pacesetter, came under a drive in the two path midway around the turn, could not keep up with the winning pacesetter from the four path entering the stretch, but ran on to secure place. HEY BATTER BATTER rated in the two path, was roused passing the three-eighths pole, angled out to the six path at the top of the lane, and kept on for show. C C'S CLEAR CREEK stalked in the three path, was ridden around the turn, but finished evenly in the five path down the lane. IT TAKES A COWBOY chased in the four path, was coaxed along in the three path around the turn, fanned out to the seven path at the top of the lane, and made no impact.
