Chart notes
MAGICNTHEMOONLIGHT led under pressure early, moved clear on the turn then held rival safe in steady drive. NUEDORF went after the winner on the turn, loomed at threat, could not get by but was second best. LITTLE LANCE prompted the pace along the rail and came up empty in the stretch. DUCALE raced off the leaders, faded on the turn and moved wide in the stretch. BACK EAST trailed for half mile then passed tiring opponents. LORD WINSALOT raced three wide off the pace and lacked a rally. ROMANTIC GAMBLE moved four wide off the pace and gave way readily.
