Chart notes
THALBERG stalked the leader from the fence to the top of the lane, tipped out three wide and closed well to overtake the leader in the final sixteenth and was going away at the wire. MEANT TO BE LUCKY broke well to open a clear lead shortly from the gate, maintained the advantage setting a well rated pace, had no answer for the winner late and finished well as second best. UNPREDICTABLE BAY tracked the leader into the turn, was put to an early drive four wide on the bend and failed to gain ground on the top pair fading late. BOUDIN showed brief speed to race in early contention, dropped back on the turn and was no threat.
