KING OF KENTUCKY set his own uncontested early pace and drew off to be well clear under steady handling. RAISON KARTER tracked the early leader two deep, kept on but was no match for the winner. ICE MINISTER off slowly, raced near the back early, moved up four wide into the upper stretch and raced evenly to the wire no closing run. ROSE'S PEPINO settled early, had an inside run and no late response.
